RC's for today's HOF inductees
While watching the Hall of Fame Ceremonies today it got me thinking about what the cost of these guys rookies would be and what it would cost to buy them today.
So I jumped on Ebay and just looked at BIN prices for the rookie cards of today’s six inductees in PSA 8, 9 and 10. I decided to go with base cards with there were choices between glossy, The Rookies or chrome. Only Harold Baines 1981 Topps was not available in a PSA 10. The only thing that was up for BIN on Baines was his 1981 Fleer autographed with a 10 on both the card and the signature.
If you want to right now, you can get them all in PSA 10 for less than $2,000 not counting shipping costs, in PSA 9 for $518 and in PSA 8 for $228.
I’m not doing it, but was just curious, so I decided to share.

Thanx for the analysis (sorry don't know your first name).
I've always thought that a nicely centered 8 was a bargain.
Now, if ya got the dough? Why not 10?
Not a fan of the 92B Mariano tho.
Agree. Life long Yankee fan here. What on God’s green Earth were they thinking?

What's not to like?
It's could be worse....Chipper Jones modeling his early 90's look.
It's Jason. and I agree, if you can find an 8 with good eye appeal it can be a very nice addition to any collection.

It's like.
What was Topps thinking?
I wonder if Chipper and Mariano laugh every time someone tries to get the 1992 Bowman cards signed.
Nothing tarnished Rivera’s legacy. Absolutely NOTHING
That whole subset sucked lol

I strongly prefer the 1990 Diamond Tampa Yankees card for Mariano Rivera
For Mussina, I'll take the 1991 Leaf Gold Rookies instead of the UD one.
the 91 leaf gold and 91 fleer ultra are my favorite Mussina rookies. For Mariano I like the 92 fleer procards.
