Straight 2 at best, likely 3(MC or OC). If it got a 4(MC or OC), you caught somebody in a fantastic mood. All are equivalent for registry value.
ETA: It's a card I'd be proud to own in any condition, just giving my honest opinion.

Barring any other surface issues, I'd say 2 or 3. Probably a qualifier, too.

Seeing it with the better scan now I can see this card in a 4MC holder.
Obviously that's no guarantee, and I feel it would be the best it can become.

IMO, its all in how you interpret that front centering. I'd say 3 with an outside chance at a 4(MC).
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.

What's the centering like on the back?

can probably get it up to a 3, if you buy the grader a beer first
Get it graded for sure!
Hard to tell Jim
Here's something close that sold for $500 on eBay.
I think your's may be closer to 2.5-3?

The cut is about the same but his card has very bad corners and creasing.
I scanned the card again. No creases...
