Can you tell me anything about this photo from the early 1900s?

I have had this photo for many years. Based on the back of the photo, it looks like it was once housed in someone's photo album. I don't know anything about it but would LOVE to get more information. If any of you can tell me anything about it, I'd be thankful.

    Can't offer any info on the pix ID. But what stands out to me is there is no catcher behind the batter, unless he is farther back from the batter.
