I am a collector, and not a dealer, but some may argue that point since I am offering this coin for sale to a wide audience.

I have available for sale an 1833 Capped Bust Half Dime graded MS65 by PCGS. I just upgraded this coin in my Registry Set.

This gem has excellent luster, and the strike is sharp on both sides, with only portions of the dentils on the reverse lacking full detail. A die crack extends through the E in STATES. The photo does NOT show the true luster on this coin in hand!

For the variety collector, I’ve done the work for you. It is LM-1 (Rarity 3), Valentine 7. The PCGS pop shows this 1833 LM-1 MS65 as only having a pop of 1, but that’s because most of the 50 in this grade have not requested variety attribution.

My price is $1,695 via regular PayPal (no PP Gift Payments) and includes FedEx Priority Overnight shipping (expected delivery by 10:30 am next business day after shipped, but NOT guaranteed). However, if I have to ship to a P.O. Box, then I ship USPS Priority Mail, with 3 day estimated delivery time from when shipped. Due to the value, a signature will be required.

When looking at others, remember that this is not a commodity. Eye appeal varies tremendously from coin to coin. Others currently offered on the bay in the “common” dates, including both NGC and PCGS range from $1,625 to $2,770. On collectorscorner, common dates graded MS65 by PCGS and NGC range from $1,995 to $3,150.
