I learned today that before 1923 ( if I remember correctly) they gave WS victors medals and money clips.

    I’ve never heard of a World Series Medal being in any auctions or for sale, that is fairly odd if that’s the case because I’m thinking I would have at least seen one or 2 up for sale?

    Per the MLB HoF the first rings were given out to the N.Y. Giants for winning the 1922 W.S.
