    PS Hold on to them for now. Don't clean them. Right now they are worth around $8 in silver.

    If you're interested in U.S. Coins, I recommend that you purchase A Guidebook of United States Coins. While the pricing section may not be completely acccurate, it will give you a good idea of which coins are common and which coins are better dates. It also has mintages, weights, mint mark locations, pics of certain varieties, and even a basic description of the grading criteria. Plus it has some decent historical info. IMO, it's the best $10-15 you'll ever spend on the hobby

    I have many of these types of Mercs in junk silver bags....those dates/conditions are no where near grading calibre
