The notes remind me: So thirty years ago a couple of guys walk into a friend's NYC antique/scrap shop with a suitcase full of foreign cash they said they found in construction demolition in Philadelphia. He calls me, I'm working for MTB at the time, we also did large amounts of F/X. Turned out to be Chinese 1000 Yuan Sun Yat Sen, all American Bank Note Company circa 1945 in original packs of 100 with wrappers. Apparently they never made it to either the mainland or Taiwan. At the time, had to work like Hell to sell them for $1 a piece. I suppose they would bring more now.
