There are so many crazy monster toners in each series to choose from on the set registry as the #1 Toner. Please post what you think in your opinion is the #1 craziest set registry toner from each series. They do not have to be your coins. Please post (if known) who owns the coin, the grade of the coin, and what set they are in.

I might get slammed for this, I love toners of all sorts, but I hate this coin. He looks like melted zombie Franklin.
Now that Roanoke on the other hand..... that’s stellar.

Obviously, appreciation of toning is personal but I think most would agree that is not close to the finest toner in the Washington series. I’m not sure what your criteria are - most of the others seem to at least be very close to the highest graded. For color and grade in Washington silver quarters, the 49-D Legend just auctioned is up there. For color alone, this is the best I’ve seen in person:
I guess it depends upon how you define “best monster toner”. But in terms of eye-appeal/beauty, I’ve seen dozens, if not hundreds, of toned Morgan dollars, which in my opinion, exhibited much more desirable “monster” toning. The same goes for the Barber Dime and Buffalo Nickel posted to this thread.
With respect to images of toned Morgans which I think display better color - quite a few can be found here: http://www.jhonecash.com/coins/tonedmorgans.asp
Mark Feld* of Heritage Auctions*Unless otherwise noted, my posts here represent my personal opinions.
That 80s is nice and graded high, but it’s very far from a monster toned coin. Morgan’s come with magnificent reds and greens, as far as color, this one is meh.

I agree with you and @MFeld although it did set the record auction price paid for a toner (which it still holds) and it is tied for the highest graded toned Morgan (the 69s are all white). I wasn’t that impressed by it when I previewed the Legend auction. It’s a great coin but there are at least 100 Morgan toners I’d rather own.

Hard to pick the craziest 1950-64 Proof Roosevelt toner in existence, but here are a few candidates from my set that I think should be in the running.

This is not mine, but it has to be considered. Not a proof, but has the look of one.

That IHC is currently in a proof holder, and properly designated as such.
Please provide proof.
If NGC designated it as a proof they are mistaken.
How would you know it is properly designated, you haven't seen it in hand.
Rick Snow told the owner it was MS, I've seen it and the fields are not even close to the mirror finish of a Proof Indian.

No lincoln love?
@Ronyahski care to share some top toners from the wheaties?
My Instagram
Here are a few that many consider among the finest known toned Lincolns.
Agree. I had that coin in hand and made an offer on it. It is unusual, but not near the top of Franklin toners. I have several that I rate higher.
@Ronyahski I imagine this will fall in the top few lincolns.

The "King of Lincolns" has to be a proof coin like these........
