Having a hard time finding this one and thought perhaps some here will recognize it. I have looked in many books cannot find it.

    Wow, they did not provide much yo go on. I guess the eagle was supposed to say it all.

    The double-headed eagle was supposed to represent the dual nature of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (which in fact was a complicated political arrangement).

    But the Russian minor coins of that era also had a two-headed eagle and were similar. Those coins had denominations in Cyrillic lettering on them, however.

    Very minor coins must have tended to stay at home.

    The double headed eagle represented the state the church, not Austria and Hungary.
