A "Box of 20" Collage, to enjoy.

After my recent thread about a condition rarity SHQ, I feel a need to cleanse the palate.
Every once in a while I get a few minutes to play around on the computer. Even though my collection has bloated well beyond a tidy box of 20, the concept is fun and years ago I decided to make a collage of my current favorite 20 coins. I've updated and changed it several times over the years. It makes a nice screen saver to enjoy while the coins sleep far away in the SDB. The included coins aren't always the 20 most valuable, but in different ways they're the most meaningful.
Here's the current version:
From the upper left, proceeding clockwise:
Peace dollar - The prettiest 1921 I've ever seen and perhaps my favorite coin. Great story too.
Half Dime - The no-stars design is just gorgeous.
Indian Cent - The coin is great and this is one of my favorite photos.
3-dollar gold - The odd way this came to my collection was fun. It's an AU64.
Seated Dollar - Prettier and more enjoyable than its grade would suggest.
Seated Quarter - Wow. BOOMING, deep luster and gorgeous toning. Surprisingly, a 15k mintage coin.
Half Eagle - An XF Dahlonega coin with an old, photogenic look.
Barber Dime - A little jewel with exquisite detail.
Capped Bust Half - Character and luster. Only some rim squishiness keeps it out of a gem holder.
3 cent silver- Don't you just love the "O" mint-mark? You don't always need the most common date in a type set.
Draped Bust Half - Secondary toning, of course, but really nice secondary toning.
Coronet Lg. Cent - Almost certainly a Randall hoard coin. Nice blue/chocolate toning and sharp detail.
Flowing Hair Dollar - I love the deep clash marks on this coin. Cool story on how it came to me too.
SLQ - A monstrously gorgeous coin. I like color, but color over tremendous luster is sooooo nice.
St. Gaudens - This coin is under-graded. It just is. The surface texture and luster is so enjoyable.
Merc Dime - One of my favorite designs. Flashy color.
Sm. Eagle Dollar - Again, a great story and a nice ending to a long hunt.
Bust Eagle - A story for later......
Classic Half Cent - Gorgeous coins are out there. A bit of red, sharp detail, and solid. Cool.
Pilgrim - A wow coin. Designed by my cousin (4 times removed), rainbow rims, rattler OGH holder, so fun to look at.

As a fan of color, these are my two favorites. And what a neat family connection with the Pilgrim!
That's some serious eye candy.
You should be very proud.
I like them all but the Peace dollar, the no stars Seated half dime, the Saint Gaudens and the Standing liberty quarter really stand out for me.
The Merc and the seated quarter deserve honorable mention.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

That 21 Peace Dollar is a show stopper.
I agree. And the 1882 Seated 25c, 1917 25c, and Merc aren't bad, either. That's exactly the kind of color I like.
Nicely done! I'm a fan of coin collages and have put together a few of my own, too.
Some outstanding coins!
Gotta update the year in the center.
@BryceM that is so fun. Love it and the coins. Well played sir and thanks for sharing!!

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
A really beautiful collage of coins!
What a great idea, all beautiful coins. And an excellent job with the photography.
Well done!!

Beautiful box of twenty. Do you ever feel that it's perfect and that you wouldn't change a thing? When I build a set like yours, I take a couple days to enjoy it and then start thinking about how it could be improved...although I sometimes wish that I could just be satisfied! It's all about the hunt.
Really nice collage.... Very impressive coins... Nice gold there....Cheers, RickO
Wow! I just loved the 6th coin in this list.. the seated quarter... the toning and shine is brilliant! Cheers..
Right you are! Fixed.
You forgot the prices.

Stunning!
Incredible collection! That collage would be perfect for your desktop wallpaper.

I say we could use a BryceM watch thread.
Them is SUPERIOR coins! I won't even ask if they have stickers.
A real pleasure to view!
Hooptie!
3 have gold stickers, 4 were denied stickers, and the rest have green stickers. The 4 that do not have stickers were vetted by a person who has never steered me wrong........ and hopefully that is the last we hear about stickers (or even grades) in this thread.
Fantastic. Well done.
Well, I grade the collage 66+
Haven't been on for a few days, but just had to comment on the artistry of your display and the wonderful coins in that display. WOW! You should be justifiably proud of that great group!
Best regards,

nice I like
Very nice. Imagine finding a treasure chest with all those in it. Cool!!
Great presentation
Super nice collage. I don't see any dogs there.
Damn! That's a beautiful Box of 20! I have two questions:
Are you going to let us in on the "stories" that you mention in your descriptions?
What is an AU64?
Rocking my "shiny-object-syndrome"!!!
Question 2 is easy. It’s in a PCGS AU58 holder with the eye appeal and overall look of a nice BU coin. For the record, I think it’s graded correctly but I think it might come back in an MS62 holder if tried again.
Question 1 - Most of these stories have been shared here over the years. If I get a minute I’ll look them up and share the links.
Very nice! (X 20)
Wow! Super nice coins and love the collage

See the first sentence!
VERY very nice!!
Excellent! Love this.
Great looking collage!!!
I particularly like the 1921 Peace dollar.
U.S. Type Set
You have a great eye. Pilgrim is my favorite - really stands head and shoulders above most.
@BryceM - Is there a Luddite-proof way to make a collage like that (assuming I - I mean, my friend, has pictures of his coins)?
My current "Box of 20"
Well, I did it, so it can’t be all that difficult, right?
The hard part is getting high-quality photos. I use Photoshop Elements and it’s just a cut & paste operation once all the photos are uploaded. The layout is just trial & error until it looks “right”. I’m no graphic designer, but it looks OK to me. TrueViews would also work. They’re photographed pretty consistently.
I’ve never done one for anyone else, but it wouldn’t be that difficult. PM me if you’re interested.
Holy cow! I don't know which I envy more, your coins or your photography.
If I can do it, it can't be too hard. Used Paint.net for my avatar.
Excellent collage!
Beautiful collage! I might be partial but I love the 1799 $10.
Bryce, it’s a pleasure to see pictures of your collection. And your posts show that you have become quite knowledgeable and (equally importantly) that you truly enjoy your collecting. 👍

Mark, I sincerely appreciate that and the kind words of everyone else who posted in the thread. I don’t know if you remember all the details, but you were involved at some level in the acquisition of 6 of these. And, yes, meeting nice folks and finding great pieces is a blast.
I remember some, but not all of the details, and am honored. Please feel free to message me with the stories for each, if it wouldn’t be too painful.😉
