Is it important to you to have a 10 auto on your PSA card or

any numerical grade or no grade? Does the auto grade help the value if it's a 10, does it hurt if it's a 9? Talking only about 1981 and cards.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

it most definitely helps if it is a 10 grade and hurts if it is a 9.

I prefer no auto grade...if it is graded, I usually only purchase if it is a 10 unless it is a rare auto I need.

His depends on the context of his question.

If for resale only, I get autos graded. Since pops are skewed towards 10s, anything less than a 10 generally is valued less.

If the auto is aesthetically pleasing, and looks like a 10, no need to get it graded and risk a 9, my opinion.

If you are collecting only, no need to waste money on auto grades, so the grades should not matter.

Wait! That brings up a valid point. I'm sure there are blind people out there who collect cards. Slabs need braille.
