Nice to see them do the right thing, unlike PWCC.

PC Walter Payton - Bear Down!
They need to take down those awful 78 and 75 racks, not even close to real.
How could anyone with an iota of experience think those were real for a nanosecond?
Of the four items they have listed under golf, only half are correct. One is a baseball vending box run, another they're trying to hype an 81D wax box as 82D. Glad to see they can read PSA labels for the other two.
Whenever you guys find this stuff, it always reminds me, for some odd reason, of the tire-changing scene in A Christmas Story , when Ralphie says, "My old man's spare tires were only actually tires in the academic sense. They were round and had once been made of rubber."

Those were sold on ebay along with many other ridiculous star packs several months ago by a notorious pack factory and are not only resealed but actually homemade, cellophane packaging and all. Worse than Xmas racks. That an auction house would even agree to accept those from a consignor and list them in their catalog is mindboggling to me and frankly, utterly embarrassing.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
WOW!! Will question any unopened from this venue from now on. Those are easy to tell racks.
Sad

I'm still waiting for a '75 rack with a Brett rookie on top in every cell.

Does anyone know if Heritage has pulled any items from their auction?
Welcome to the forum
@HighGradeLegends - I deleted the post that you quoted and wiped it on your post as well. Seemed a reasonably obvious trolling job. Thanks, Todd
FYI the 2 '57 cellos, Mantle series are not legit either. Wrong back seal with thicker cellophane.
And they couldn't replicate factory secondary folds. That is a tell-tale with all cellos.
And those '75 racks are a joke. That is embarrassing.

Looks like the bad racks fetched good $$
But somewhat short of what an authentic 1975 rack would fetch with a similar star showing and with BBCE shrink wrap.
Depending on the star(s) and condition I’d think an authentic rack would be $900-$1200
