Canceled Checks??

So I came across a bunch of canceled checks from “The Connecticut river Banking Company”.

They’ve been paid so they’ve all been through the machine that punches them with holes and stamped on the bank. The stamps on the back are of other banks etc.

Dates are 1928-1931. They don’t have nice vignettes.

Appreciate any thoughts

Sell them as a group lot on eBay starting at $9.95 and someone will pick them up.

Here is a picture. There is probably 100 of them. Some are written out to power companies, telephone companies, doctors etc.

Nice, original, clean, vintage checks. Cancelled checks are now a relic of a bygone banking era. They are collectable.

When you list, if there are any interesting payees then highlight those, and make sure there are no famous people who signed them.

And post a link here if you list them. I might take a look.

Most of these, unfortunately, don't appear to have any vignettes. That tends to be what increases the collectability and value. I would concur with Tooky on general Ebay pricing.

    Intrigued by all things intaglio.
