FASC box value

I didn't see any sold listings in a while but wondering if anyone had a ballpark value for the following baseball boxes:

1978 Topps Cello box (FASC)
1979 Topps Cello box (FASC)
1980 Topps Wax box (FASC)

1979 Topps Cello box (FASC): $1800+
1980 Topps Wax box (FASC): $2,000+

Haven't seen a 78 cello box FASC for sale in quite a while but I would estimate value at about $2,200+ should one come up for sale.

Thank you. Crazy to think those have more than doubled in the 4 years since we bought those in a group break on these boards.

Wait, "more than doubled" seems to sorta-kinda imply that maybe it is more than 20% increase. :*

I picked up a 78 Cello but not FASC for 1800. Tim’s 2200+ is spot on.

Thanks guys. Really glad I picked them up for around $2500 total.

I think he meant 4 years ago.

Didn’t we break the 1980 case for under $1000/box?

We sure did. I have to go ask and look for the exact amount, but it was somewhere between $900 and $1,000.

Correct. Man those have jumped in price since that time. If we had only known then what we know now we would have just bought the whole case!

I remember there was a little stress since some of the boxes had crushed corners.
