I didn't see any sold listings in a while but wondering if anyone had a ballpark value for the following baseball boxes:
1978 Topps Cello box (FASC)
1979 Topps Cello box (FASC)
1980 Topps Wax box (FASC)

1979 Topps Cello box (FASC): $1800+
1980 Topps Wax box (FASC): $2,000+
Haven't seen a 78 cello box FASC for sale in quite a while but I would estimate value at about $2,200+ should one come up for sale.

Thank you. Crazy to think those have more than doubled in the 4 years since we bought those in a group break on these boards.
Wait, "more than doubled" seems to sorta-kinda imply that maybe it is more than 20% increase.

Lol. Imagine that.
I picked up a 78 Cello but not FASC for 1800. Tim’s 2200+ is spot on.
Thanks guys. Really glad I picked them up for around $2500 total.
Recently? If so, a great deal.
I think he meant 4 years ago.

I used to buy 78 Wax boxes for $450 and a 3 box rack case for 2,700. Mid 2000’s mostly

Didn’t we break the 1980 case for under $1000/box?
We sure did. I have to go ask and look for the exact amount, but it was somewhere between $900 and $1,000.
It was $950 per box.

Correct. Man those have jumped in price since that time. If we had only known then what we know now we would have just bought the whole case!

If the flux capacitor was real we would all have cases

I remember there was a little stress since some of the boxes had crushed corners.
