I thought this to be some die gouge, Die abrasion or what have you but I’m not to sure. Has anyone else seen this? Sorry for the horrid photos :( later in the day I will correct them after work.

It looks like it is into the surface. If it is INTO the coin it is either a strike thru or a small gouge. Need a sharp image.

I figured as much. I debated on wether to wait on my pay until I gather proper pictures. I want to say small gouge. It is not on the surface as it travels underneath the R and above. Thanks insider

Always better to type ignore in caps. People will know to move on.

Does look like a possibility of a gouge. Doubt it is a die clash; as mentioned better sharper pics will help tell the story.

Cannot say from those pictures, but one possibility is abrasion to the die from the feed fingers moving in and out and scraping against the surface of the die.
