*** SOLD *** Esperanto 10-steloj, 1959 (u), PCGS MS65 (10K mintage, pop.2)
*** SOLD ***
Freshly graded and just back from PCGS today. 10K mintage. Pop. 2. As of this message, the entire PCGS population consists of only this MS65 and the other coin in my submission, which made MS66 (and is going into my collection).

Correction- there are two MS65 coins (this and one other) and one MS66. So pop.2 in MS65, but pop.3 in all grades.
The history of these interesting pieces can be found here:

This early attempt at a proposed world currency was issued by the Universal League of Esperantists. The coins were struck in 1960 under contract at the Royal Dutch Mint in Utrecht, as indicated by the privy marks.
Because the Universal League was not a sovereign government, these are considered exonumia or fantasy issues and are thus cataloged in the Krause Unusual World Coins volume as KM# X5.

I am asking $75 or best offer for this piece. Fair disclosure: you can get one raw for considerably less. But if you want one of the only three in PCGS plastic, here's your chance. I will also entertain swap offers.

Do we have an Esperantist among us? Alas, I am not one, but I had a friend in my college days who studied it.
No, I just used Google translate. I'm looking for one of the coins of neutral Moresnet - at one time proposed for an Esperanto-speaking region. Thanks for all the info in your post.
