1962D (Full Steps) Jefferson nickel

I know this to be uncommon for this year. What would it be valued?

    Five cents

It depends, if it is a rare piece.

It is circulated which would kill its value. There are also some hits, among other things, that would preclude a FS designation.

Hi 10esseestud. 1st welcome to the board. The 1962D prices out to $10.00 in MS65 . The coin shows some wear and or bag Mark's on obverse and multiples on the steps on the reverse. I don't think it will make MS. condition, and the pic of the steps make it difficult to determine if it is in fact F.S. unfortunately, I don't think it is rare in that condition . Others may have differing opinions. I don't think it is worth sending to grading. Nickels have a narrow niche market for collecting, so it's probably not worth much more than face value.

Common circulation coin. Worth five cents.

Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.

Coin has many hits including rim damage.

I, like others, see hits across the steps and also weakness on the left, so I don't think it is full steps in any case.
