1921 Morgan help identifying VAM

Hello - I was looking through my loupe at one of my 1921 Morgan’s and noticed what appears to be a clash on the reverse between the wing and the wreath both upper and lower. I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable with VAM’s maybe able to help identify the variety. Thanks

Very common on Morgan dollars of all dates. What you are asking for is virtually impossible and probably not worth the time or effort EXCEPT to a really serious "coinhead." Even if known, the VAM will probably not add anything to the coin's value. I'm not a serious "coinhead" so that's all I can write. Sorry.

Here you go. Jump into the Vam hole and you’ll be there awhile.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Not a clash and not a part of a Vam designation. It is a hit on the coin (PMD) from the reeds or denticals of another coin.
Edited to add: The die gouge in STA of states or the filled G of God might be a good starting point to find the correct Vam.
That was my thought as well. With the circulation, it's hard to distinguish where some of the die cracks are with this coin. Closest I can guess is Vam 3X. Full disclosure...I am not well versed with 1921 P Morgans and I'm probably wrong!!!
Someone like @DennisH or @messydesk would be able to attribute this at first sight I would guess! ![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
@Hallco No need to ask anyone else, I think ya nailed it with the 3X.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Wow! Really?
I'm actually a bit surprised! I was checking to see if any of the 21s have "crumbled" stars, but I couldn't find any. David Close will be proud of me! Lmao! I will have to tell him about this thread the next time I see him! ![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Yup. Early die stage of VAM 3X. The big break on the 6th right star hasn't formed yet, but the other die cracks are there. Not a money coin as is, and not much of one even with the break, but solving a puzzle is often its own reward.
