Here are images of two Quincy IL tokens = 2 1/2 Cent Quincy Cigar Stores Co and 5 cents Bernbrock's Pharmacy. Hoping someone has information about these.

There are some on TokenCatalog.com. The 2.5 cent is cataloged as TC-191365.
Can't add anything on the tokens, but must say that Quincy, Illinois is one of the finest little cities on God's green earth, especially if you like to drink beer. Good restaurants there too.
Fred and Linda Lee ran one of the nicest small coin shops there too, also located on Maine Street, but they have now passed to their heavenly reward. They are sadly missed!
Thanks... helpful.
The Quincy Cigar Stores piece is listed in the ancient Vacketta catalog of Illinois Trade Tokens as Qui-24, Rarity-5 (on a 1 common to 6 rare scale) but it is more like a R-2 or R-3, I've handled it several times. The Bernbrock's Pharmacy token is not listed as are probably 75%+ of the Illinois tokens known. I've handled it once IIRC. The IL catalog was first published in 1973 and was one of the first state catalogs published so rarity ratings were pretty much a guess.
One of the top IL trade token collectors lived in Quincy and scoured the city for many years. When he passed away his collection was being shipped USPS from his retirement home in Georgia to another in Illinois but two very large boxes never arrived. Some of the tokens later started to turn up & I was able to track them back to someone who bought them out of a USPS Unclaimed & Undeliverable aucton.
tokencatalog is a wonderful resource for many things but it does not start take the place of individual state catalogs in listings and especially rarities. The exclamation "unlisted on tokencatalog!" that is sometimes seen on eBay listings means next to nothing.
Thanks, Pat
