I found this die for the Pipestone, MN, chapter on Ebay last year. I hope to pick up a penny from that chapter and donate the set to the Pipestone Historical Society.
Shriners International, also commonly known as the Shriners and formerly known as the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (AAONMS), is a Masonic society established in 1870 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

The coin it was copied from, a British East India Company Bengal Presidency Rupee:
Bengal Presidency Rupee, Shah Alam II, Murshidabad, No date, Regnal Year 19
Silver, 26 mm, 11.57 gm
Obverse in Persian Arabic:
Shah Alam, Emperor, in the shadow of Allah's divine favor, Defender of the Religion of Muhammad,
Struck this coin over seven regions
Reverse in Persian Arabic:
Struck at Murshidabad in the year 19 of his reign associated with tranquil prosperity
I ran across the piece below and found it intriguing. I don't think it's that old. It almost looks like it was struck over a Lincoln Cent but not enough of the underlying host coin is visible to make a positive identification.
I don't usually collect these, but it was nice that these came together. The All Seeing Eye is a nice motif.
1873 New Masonic Temple of Philadelphia
Compositions: White Metal, Copper, Bronze
Catalog Numbers: Rulau Pa-Ph-311, Pa-Ph-311a, Pa-Ph-311b
Anyone know who struck these?
From the seller:
1873 New Masonic Temple Philadelphia PA - Dedicated September 26 A.D. 1873 A.L. 5873. Three Medal Set struck in white metal, copper & bronze. Rulau Pa-Ph-311 - 311a - 311b. Two are unlisted. This is the only set I have seen in 30+ years of collecting.
...
I will be selling a 30 plus year accumulation of US and foreign coins, currency and exonumia. I am not a dealer or operating business.
It's nice to get the set, but apparently there's one in brass that I need to find! Anyone know where I can find it?
This is an 1873 Philadelphia New Masonciv Temple medal, as Rulau # Pa-Ph-311 but in brass (not white metal; cats. $30 Unc in WM). Brass, 38mm, full-lusted AU. 3.5mm thick.
It's also really interesting that NGC hasn't slabbed any of these.

From the 1870 U S Federal Census for Cleveland, Ohio, Louis Brunner was listed as a jeweler, and from the 1880 U S Federal Census for Cleveland, Ohio, Louis and brother Arnold were proprieters of a jewelry store.
In 1881 their business appeared in the Cleveland City Directory at 255 Superior; they were manufacturing jewelers, retailers, and wholesalers. The Brunner Bros, wholesale jewelers, were listed at 53 Euclid in the 1902 Cleveland Business Directory.
Arnold H Brunner is listed as a jeweler in the 1910 U S Federal Census for Cleveland, Ohio. A sister named Sophia is listed in the same census as a jewelry store saleswoman.

Yes, an undated "token" from a top tier British secret society . . . . marked Cleveland Ohio?
Mentions of an encampment. I've only seen that term used in context of military battle reenactments. What British battle occurred in Cleveland Ohio?
Hmmm, a mystery for sure.
Then there are the various symbols on the reverse of this piece.
Masonic, Christian, Illuminati, Jewish, British Royal . . . .
I think my favorite has to be the diminutive skull and crossbones ☠️ on the obverse.

I heard Stacks will be auctioning the Masonic collection previously owned by Maurice Storck who passed away in 2019. Storck was the last surviving numismatist who attended the Farouk sale in 1954. I know nothing about Masonic or Free Mason coinage but would make the assumption it is a quality collection.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out for that auction. Should see some very unique pieces

It would be great to see Maurice's pedigree attached to Masonic pieces. The only other Masonic pedigree collector I know of is Virgil Brand.

I've got some I've had for 20 odd years. Here's a couple. My son inherited a 33 degree masonic sword about 30 years ago from a great uncle.
