If anyone has questions about the 1972 STP's, please ask. There are no bad questions.

I have always liked this set, especially the Dave Marcis and Bobby Allison cards. I know the Allison is rare but I would like to have one as I am named after him...I do have a saved search just in case. As for the Marcis, my dad was on the pit crew for when he drove the AMC Matador. I have some pictures somewhere from his time doing it.

I watched the coca cola 600 sunday night, and I still can't believe Martin Truex pulled it off. I thought he was finished after he hit the wall early in the race. The 1972 STP is a legendary set. I also like the 1983 UNO set.
That Petty card has been on my list for years. I love these and the old postcards too
Any idea if there are reprints of these? If so, any advice on what to look for? I want to pick one up and avoid getting burned. Thanks
To my knowledge and searching for these in the last 15+ years there are no reprints of these cards. Here is one of my sites with a write up and images (Front & Back) for all of the 1972 STP cards. --> racingcardinfo.com/1972-stp-nascar-trading-cards/
maddux69 - that's pretty cool about being on the pit crew. Can you share any of the photo's?
doubledragon - I couldn't believe Truex pulled it off as well. I was right there in Victory Lane and I hope to post some photo's I took.
Ah the 83 UNO set now that’s my favorite of all time. Can you do an episode on that one??

I love the 1983 UNO set and I will talking all things 1983 UNO on the next show. I don't think people realize how scare the 1972 STP and 1983 UNO sets are. They were give a ways and on a very small scale at that.
