Sales Tax question - eBay

Does New Jersey charge sales tax on collectable coins? If so, is there a minimum amount before you have to file with New Jersey? It seems ridiculous to have to file for one sale that is not a high dollar value. This is a eBay sale.
Also - does EBay automatically collect the sales tax from the buyer - even if the buyer pays before the EBay invoice that has the tax on it listed is sent?
Thanks

A minimum dollar amount would be irrelevant. If the item is taxable in NJ, and the sale is on eBay, it is taxable. No number of sales or $ of sales limits apply because it is on eBay.
As for what's taxable in NJ, coins and bullion are taxable in New Jersey:

All of that said, as of May 1st eBay is collecting sales tax in New Jersey, there is nothing for you to file. eBay handles it all for you.
That makes life a lot easier.
Thanks
