And speaking of the Toronto Raptors.....
Is anyone else, like me, a big Marcus Camby fan?

Warriors in 4.
Warriors in 5...………...unfortunately
I have no skins in the game.
I think it would be fun to see Toronto win it.
The only way GS loses a game is if they get cocky and let up on defense.
Leonard single handedly took out my Sixers, and his game 7 shot was just unbelievable. They just had too much D for the Bucks down the stretch of those last games. Playoff basketball is so much different than the regular season, and it showed up big time here. Cudos to the Raptors, although I don't think they have the horses to take on the Warriors. We shall soon see.
Canada certainly has higher regard for our flag than the GS dolts.
Well at least the hockey fans do.

Shameful. F* all of them! 😠
Well said Steve
Loved watching him at UMass. Always thought he would be better in the NBA than TIm Duncan...Obviously was wrong about that, but I collected a lot of his cards in the mid 90s.
I wonder how many players on current NBA teams place their hand over their heart when the national anthem is sung.
Probably a lot fewer than in previous decades.
Season ticket holder for first nine years. Amazing to see them make it to the finals. I believe I believe.
I too have a lot of Camby cards. Had hoped he would have been better in the pros. Still have a Camby t-shirt from rookie season.
He had a nice career.
My gut tells me the Raptors take the series and then KD goes to NY.
WE THE NORTH!
One down,three to go.

Hats of to the Raptors tonight. Sakiam was unreal and everybody else played good to. GS was playing catch up all night.
This has nothing to do with Durant being out. GS was winning Championships when he got there. I'm anxious to see game 2 to see if this was a fluke or are the Raptors for real?
I feel exactly the same.
With all that length on defense it seemed like Toronto had a hand on most shots in the paint. That was a good overall team win.

This is definitely a better team than they have had in the past few years.
great win by the Yo MTV Raps. wasn't surprised, really, as they needed this game more than the Warriors did. if they also take G2, then i'll be surprised.
Siakam was otherworldly
loved Drake's Dell Curry jersey lol
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Raptors did a nice job of preventing Curry and Thompson from launching threes. The Dubs will have to make an adjustment for that in Game 2.
Go Raptors!
go warriors.
lakers need kawhi.
Looking forward to game 2
Toronto is playing tough but GS is hanging in there. VanVleet is having one hell of a game,i'd take this kid in Boston anyday.

That 3rd quarter is what did them in tonight, changed the whole complexion of the game then couldn't hit a basket when they needed to late. Let's see how they come back from this,it only gets tougher from here on out.

I didn't make it home in time to watch the game. Still, I like the Raptors in 6. We'll see.
Go Raptors! 🦖
Can't expect to win an NBA Finals game shooting 37%, letting the current champions and arguable "Dynasty" go on an 18-0 run to start the 3rd quarter and only scoring 1 basket and a couple of free throws in the last 4 minutes of the game.
If the Dubs win the series, there will be no argument that they are a dynasty. A team that “threepeats” is, by definition, a dynasty.
An incredible win by the Dubs last night. No Durant, Thompson misses the last quarter and a half, Iggy looks like he's playing on one leg, and they still hold on to win this one on the road. Someone said it after they beat Houston in GAME 6...you must never underestimate the heart of a true champion.
I agree, but a LOT of BB to be played yet.
That's exactly right. Let's see what happens when the games shift out west. Making for an excellent final series.
Good game.
I thought the game was on tomorrow night not tonight.
I missed a pretty good game at least by Toronto's starting 5 who all had great numbers in GS. Good for them how they bounced back after game two.

Toronto played a great game. I think they need to to also win game 4 in order to win the series.
GS has to win game 4 or the fat lady will be tuning up!
With Klay back for game 4, it will give the Warriors a much better defense than they were able to muster in Game 3. Way too many easy looks for the Raps. Would just like to see a competitive game in the finals this year.
The raptors should have won game 2 as well... although the Warriors showed why they have won 3 of the last 4 championships. The raptors have impressed me this year in the playoffs with their ability to believe in themselves. The moment hasn't looked too big for them so far
After the series against the Sixers, I thought they had no shot. Only thing that kept them going was Leonard, and you just knew he wouldn't be able to do it night in and night out going forward. The bench that was absolutely terrible against the Sixers has come to life. Credit to that entire unit, VanVleet, Green, Ibaka, Powell etc have all stepped up at one time or another and are making teams pay for taking Leonard out of the mix. With the state of the Warriors health, Toronto could be the next champion. That said, the Warriors have found ways so I won't count them out til the clock hits 0:00 in the last game.
Congrats Raptors fans! Toronto isn't going to sleep tonight.

Congratulations to the Toronto Raptors for winning their first ever NBA Championship!
Glad they won!
Great victory for the Raps, their fans, the city and for Canada.
Historical win that should boost youth basketball (even more!) in Canada.
Now we can only hope and pray for my beloved Leafs.

Is the championship enough for Leonard to stay??? Will make life easier for my Sixers if he leaves.
After the win, i believe he referred to the Raptors as "them".
I foresee him leaving in epic fashion as an all-time legend.
didn't hear that comment. I guess another one leaves for the West Coast
