Title Deleted to Avoid Confusion

IronmanfanIronmanfan Posts: 5,431 ✭✭✭✭

I will be meeting with Bill soon and if you're willing to make a donation to the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, I will get your card signed (or anything else you may have for that matter). We did this last year and there were 5-6 members here that took advantage of it & it all went well. For details PM me.

Thanks

Does he not normally sign that particular card? is there a suggested donation amount for this purpose that you'll share publicly?

I like having knowledge of certain quirky signature habits. Why a player won't sign or sometimes, just knowing that they don't is enough to satisfy my curiosity.

I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.

Just wanted to update all the members that participated that the signing went down on Monday as scheduled & everyone's signed cards have been mailed back.
While I realize it was short notice, I do appreciate all the members that were able to get in and most importantly for their donations to the Foundation.

While we're on the subject I wonder if the San Diego Chicken will still autograph those Chicken cards that Donruss featured from 1982-84?

I wonder if he'll ever make it to Cooperstown? :)

He’s still signing. It’s $5 per card. A poultry sum if you ask me.

I have a cut-card piece of the FF card, but it's 18x24 and has museum glass on it. I'd love him to sign the back of it, but I don't really want to ship it.

2.5 is pretty much my speed.

Probably not the same guy who played the Chicken in 1982-84...I wonder if the current Chicken still gets requests for those particular cards?
