    How do you know it is an "official" medal? It's style seems sub-par to me. It looks more like something that would be sold to tourists.

    Yes, souvenirs sold to the public, not the medals given to the participants.

    Google/ Google images suggests the Berlin 1936 participant awards medals had a traditional classical design. Apparently one of Jesse Owens' gold medals sold for quite a bit of money in recent times.

    Checking out Google images for confirmation is always a good thing to do before posting here.

    Just to say I do agree with you @bidask.

    I have a spoon, a very large aluminum soup spoon with a swastika on it.
    What makes it especially historical for me is that my Dad used it in prisoner of war camp (Stalag Luft) while he was Hitler's guest over the winter of '44-'45.
    He often commented how thin and tasteless the soup was.

    I'm a Web Designer in a company that offers these healthy dog bones (these bones contain healthy marrow, protein and calcium which help a dog’s diet while strengthening their gums and whitening their teeth.) It look nice!
