Grading on Merc dimes. Am I wrong to assume 1 point higher?

1943 D MS66 FB - The coin has a attractive purple hue with a tinge of orange. Strong fields and strike. I have a 44 beside it for comparison. Am I just that out of tune with judging on the grade or can someone educate me on the grading scale for mercy. As always thank you for your time and comments.

I think they look correctly graded as best as I can tell from the photos; however, the photography is lacking (no offense). We would need much better (clearer/in focus) images to give better estimates of a reasonable grade.
