1972 quarter issues... any help would be great!

Anyone here have any info to share on my 1972 quarter? I see many things going on but cant put my finger on it lol.. any help would be awesome! Thank you!

    Heavily worn, maybe someone had alittle to much fun with the scissors. Pmd.

    Welcome @vent to the CU forums. Agree with @dagingerbeasttt that your quarter dollar has PMD.

    Appears it suffered an impact from the reverse and therefore the bulge on the obverse.

    Then along came a chisel or scissors or tin snips across George and the field.

    All done after it left the Mint.

    Definitely Post Mint Damage. It lost a battle with some type of machinery that left those gouges and rim damage. Not a mint error

    Heavily damaged is all.

    If you read up on errors you will understand that none of that could be an error.
