1806/5 O-101 R1 Bust Half Dollar ANACS XF45
Sharp coin with colorful pastel hues. The picture doesn't show the true luster of the surfaces, and the coin looks much better in-hand.
Properly graded by ANACS in an old-style, small white holder (#774584).........$2695

1819/8 O-101 small 9 R1 Bust Half Dollar NGC AU details
The NGC assessment is disappointing since this coin deserves to be straight-graded despite a slight disturbance in the area of Liberty's cheek. It may have been dipped once long ago, but still has booming luster with no hairlines. The coin doesn't look cleaned, and the photo shows its appearance just about the same as it looks in-hand. It has very pretty original album toning at the rims on both sides. If you are looking for a high-grade example of the 1819/8 overdate, then this one may be for you. I grade as AU58+. PCGS Price Guide in MS60 is $3000........Make an Offer
This coin is from Downey's Fixed Price List sale of Feb 2014 where described as:
"A brilliant uncirculated coin with vibrant luster, plucked from a collector's type set album during the recent FUN show. A few wispy slide marks on the cheek. A narrow ring of colorful, iridescent toning runs along the obverse border, inside the stars. The upshot is another early date with exceptional eye appeal. "

1832 O.109 R4 raw AU55
This coin is from the 1993 Boston NENA show. I removed it from a PCI AU55 holder years ago. (In the early days of TPG grading I preferred raw coins over those entombed in plastic.)
The attractive multi-color toning is all natural, and the coin is without issues.
This Overton variety used to be a very stick R4, but quite a few have shown up in recent years, mostly in lower grades.
There are 4 or 5 known UNC examples, and perhaps 10 or so in grades between AU50 and AU58......$850

If I were you I'd resubmit that 1819/8 O.101 (but to PCGS). I know that coin. It should straight grade. FWIW, I have nice images of it from 2014...very big ones too.
If PCGS bodybags it I'd crack and submit it again and again until it gets the straight grade it deserves. AU58 feels right to me too.
It's a lovely coin!
Lance.
