Basketball guys, help with a 70s era lot?

I understand I can check eBay completed, but I figure some of you basketball experts can look at this lot and give me a quick rough estimate. I don't do basketball, it would be to flip and buy stuff I do collect.

Ripken rookie looks out of place (too modern).

It is pretty random. It's a decent price. Just unsure of how easy I could flip it. Most of the cards are mid grade of better .

Not sure what you are asking. Really depends on the price. Low-mid grad 70's basketball is tough to move. The 69's and 70 stuff should be ok....70's tougher than the 69's. Looks like some of the 70 Topps basketball would be ok since you have stars, just not for big money. Those PSA 5 1975 Topps basketball aren't worth the price of the plastic they are slabbed in. Again, really depends on the price. Are any of the sets complete?

No. Its supposedly all moatly mid grade or better. 124 cards total. $200 for all of it. I just wanted to flip it and make some quick money for things I do collect. But I figure it have to sell it card by card and it would be a slow process once the big names were gone.

I can't tell how many 69's are there but looks like there are some decent stars. That 76 James Silas.... That hair is crazy and would make the whole thing worth it, lol. Looks like something I would buy and piece out but it might take a little time unless you list the stars on Ebay then the commons in lots. I've been known to buy crap and have it setting around for years as well, lol. I can't say if you would make a lot or anything, but I'd pay $200 for it. Others may disagree. Good luck if you decide to pull the trigger!

The 13% eBay/paypal gouge, on a lot with not a lot of meat on the bone to begin with, makes it a tough flip. If you had a private buyer, or could move a bunch here with no fees, you might have a chance to make minimal money.

I'd want to be into the stuff for $1.50 per card or less, and hope to hand the whole lot to someone in person for $2.00 per card, but I'd take $1.75 per card if haggled with.

I don't know your financial position, but I think it's safe to say $200 wont break you since you are considering buying it.

Personally I'd offer $175 and take my chances. Good luck whatever you decide, and let us know.

Yep, kinda how I wanted it to go. I'd wanna flip the whole lot rather than piece it out. The more I think about it, the more it's really not worth it. It's a good price, but it's also about an hour drive for me to go get it. I feel like I could piece it out on eBay and do ok, but the time it would take makes it not really worth it. I may try to get it cheaper, if I do I'll keep you posted .

I'd be a buyer of that '70 Kareem if you end up picking it up.
