Two Topps Subsets Completed

jfkheatjfkheat Posts: 2,739 ✭✭✭✭✭

I recently picked up the last cards needed to complete two Topps subsets that I have been working on, 1959 All Star and 1961 MVP. I will continue looking for cards to upgrade the ones I have now.

Great looking sets. What subset is next for you?

I'm still working on the 1958 All Star set. I'm not sure what the next project will be.

Congrats on knocking off those two sets. You have put together an outstanding collection. and it has been fun following your additions. Good luck on the other sets you are working on.

    Impressive, James! Love your collection.

There's quite a few MVPs of the 1950s that haven't held the test of the time. Just like many decades thereafter... Jeff Burroughs, Ken Caminiti and Willie Hernandez come to mind...

    Enjoy your collection!

Very nice set . Nice eye appeal for each .

Yeah, I’m betting he paid more for the Mays than the Konstanty.

Great looking cards for the grade. Nice to see them all together like this. Have enjoyed seeing many of these come through the pick-ups threads each month. Working on the ‘61 HOF set and finding those MVPs with bright backgrounds is difficult. You have really put together nice subsets here. Congratulations!
