Thought this was interesting. The hobby is definitely healthy. Would have thought Ohtani would be tough to beat for a while with the uniqueness of the pitching and hitting.

Only 4 cards have beaten that in the Living Set.

I was wondering why Topps - in their 2019 Bowman - still has him as a "prospect" - BP-1?
I love our hobby.
Because he was just called up.
I understood that.
If he only stays for a bit? And returns to AAA? I was kind of being rhetorical (running at the mouth) with my BP card status.
We could wind up with a bunch of different years with "RC" designations?
I thought once you make your debut then the RC is only on cards that are released after that for whatever is left in the year. His only RC cards should be in upcoming 2019 releases even if he is sent back down.
This kid is in the majors to stay. Hope he stays healthy and tears it up this year.
This is correct.
Yaz Master Set
#1 Gino Cappelletti master set
#1 John Hannah master set
Also collecting Andre Tippett, Patriots Greats' RCs, Dwight Evans, 1964 Venezuelan Topps, 1974 Topps Red Sox
Now we'll see if he can break the Living Set record as well

Fun card to have but probably no roi unless you get them in to PSA right away and move them. That Ohtani card can be had for under $20 in PSA 10.
What is this living set?

Check out the Topps website - they have what they call “online” sets, available only through the website and usually only for a week (or a day, for most Topps Now). Once the week passes, they claim that no more will be printed, so the secondary market is your only option.

Vlad Jr was also in the most recent On Demand set (sold out their 2500 print run), and it looks like he’s leading off today’s new Throwback Thursday set. Good time to be a buyer if you’re on the Vlad train.
