Bought my only baseball card.

I'm old. When I bought baseball card packs as a kid we pulled out Mickey Mantel ( those never ended up in the spokes of our bikes) Roger Marris and being from Chicago we treasured Ernie Banks. I was searching for an Ernie Banks autograph on ebay and ran across a 2008 Topps Sterling Ernie Banks #6/10 with a signature and a 3 squares piece of cloth ( uniform I presume) it seemed an insane price at $55 but looking around at bids and the top bidders were 4 figure feedback ( underbidder high 4 figures. I figure he knows what he is doing even if I don't) it got more cool as I watched it close. I bought it for $86 no returns so if I got hammered be kind. Still cool and it's Ernie.

Congrats on a rare and very cool card. You didn't get hammered.
Yes, your old. You spelled Mantle wrong. That's the first sign of being old. Congrats on the nice pick up.
Look all those words I typed. Only one spelling error is a home run.
Two wrong. Maris, not Marris.
OK guys, you're suppose to hammer me on my card not my spelling. My wife was a school teacher (now retired) this is exactly what she does to me. 2 mistakes I'm down to a triple. As a matter of fact those are her feet.
.....and you used your when you should have used you're.
But I did say "Congrats on the nice pick up. "
Congratulations Jim - it's a cool card.
We're all just messin around.
I know. It's all good.
