Hi All! I'm super excited for Vladdy Jr's debut tonight as a blue jays fan! I was curious which baseball card set will contain his first big league RC vs some of the pre-rookie card sets he's been a part of?

    I just picked this one up. 2016 Bowman Platinum. This is one of a few left to complete my set. I think this falls into the pre-rookie sets that you were talking about.

    Topps current On Demand set has Vlad Jr - I’m sure it’ll have the RC on there but it’s not a standard set so might not garner much long term interest as an RC even if it’s the first one that’s made available...

    I rarely buy modern but since ‘55 Bowman was my Dad’s favorite set growing up and I am working on a HOF set in that year I bought this on an impulse buy.

    Hope he rips a bunch of HR’s early and this bad boy goes up for sale to buy more vintage 😄
