Box of half dollars need advice

Just finished a box of halves . Of course found no silver , however I did add 10 coins to my collection and upgraded at least another 15.
I need advice now that I have a new binocular microscope as to what to look for as unusual in the box of half dollar coins . Any specific dates . I looked in Variety Vista and saw a ton of them listed. What are my chances of finding something. Appreciate anything.

    @rmuniak

    Recommend Cherrypickers’ Guide Volume II for half dollars.

    Most of those minor varieties have little value. Personally, unless you love the varieties yourself, it is rarely worth the time.

    There's this:

    The PCGS registry with major varieties has no non-silver varieties.

    1974-D might be the only variety worth looking for among the clads.

    The 1972 D No FG is hard to find.. I still need this for my registry set.

    Agree with the 74-D DDO, I think there's also a 73-D but not as strong.

    Just don't unload them back at your bank, they generally don't like that.

    I save impaired proofs (though I doubt worth anything) and any clad halves with attractive toning. I have found some very beautiful and uniquely toned halves. Not sure about the potential value of those, but I keep them first and foremost because I like them. Those could have some potential value, especially the MS ones. Here are some examples. No telling whether NT or AT, but I sure find them pretty:
