Well, none of you saw it, or is perhaps not familiar with this mint error.
I say this much now: it is NGC PL 65 and is authentic.
the error ??? it is called Small beads.

    Thank you Timbuk3
the interesting part of this whole exercise is this:
the Canada 1966 Si Dollar is plentiful. However there are somewhere around 300 or so where the RCM used the 1965 small bead obverse die for whatever reason.
so the 66 SB is very scarce especially in high grades. Apparently there are MS and PL versions around.
NOW what makes this specific coin so interesting ?:
NGC graded it as a Large Beads. And the Auctioneer sold it as a Large Beads.
When I first saw it in the auction catalog, I made sure my eyes did not see crosswise.
please see the NGC slab and the markers of a 66 SB. The small beads are on the obverse side.

thank you all, there are a few, very few of the 1966 SB around and when they come up, the war is usually on.
However, this is the first one I came across which is mis-allocated by a top TPG. Although, I can see how easy it is to happen, as the reverse is large beads and only the obverse is Small beads. When one looks fast and sees the reverse beads, usually and commonly ones decision is made.
this coin came from the same seller as the other 2, actually really 3 , I will post, each as a separate post.
