I’ve been searching for one of these for a while for my Beaver collection #15 of 6000 and here is the nice but gimmick original advertising. I got it for a few more $$ than the original release cost.

“Crude copy” leaps to mind.
Subject to Hobby Protection Act marking requirements if made after 1973.
I don’t know about crude the photos aren’t super but it’s definitely from a nice pair of dies

Congrats!
That's great jabba! Love what you're doing with this set. It's just a lot of fun
Replica is the correct term, as used in the brochure. This is because the original dies not are not used in any way to strike these. Things like the Red Book use the term "restrike" for replicas which is how that term gets spread around.
So when were these made?
If "native gold" was refined to 0.999 fine, then it is no longer native gold. Oregon placer gold is about 0.840 fine.
I think it just means the gold was native to that area... it came from there. Does not mean it is still the original quality.
Understood --- however, it cannot be called "native" since it is indistinguishable from any other 0.999 refined gold. The smart approach would have been to make the imitations in real, unrefined Oregon gold.
It was made from Oregon gold sourced from local mines now the fact it’s 24K just means they refined the impurities out that doesn’t make it any less Oregon gold just means it’s refined Oregon gold.
The info I have stated they where made 140 years after the original so 1989 if my math is correct.
