"Dan", who is a local collector who helps me with my taxes.
He showed me this coin with a weird metal finger projecting from Liberty's nose. This is added right?

Mr. Eagle trying to teach Lady Liberty how to enjoy an Upmann and she tries to be funny about it!
It's a scratch.
Although it looks raised, (it is), on the right side
of it is where the thick blade cut into the surface,
leaving raised metal on the left of the cut.

Shouldn't have used the word scratch;
Cut is more appropriate.......sorry

These damaged coins are usually called "Struck from Cancelled Dies" when the carved in damage is longer or in the form of an "X."
