BEAR- JAY ROSS PROOF QUARTER COLLECTION

HELLO BEAR:
I read on another thread that R&I was going to sell your proof
quarters. Can you give me some more info. Can I purchase any of the coins
directly from you? I know I would like to avoid the "middle man"
mark up if at all possible. Maybe you could avoid the seller commission also. Hope to hear from you soon.

Danny - Sorry, But Rick Tomaska is handling the entire collection. He helped me build the collection 10 years ago coin by coin. Perhaps it is my sense of loyalty to a dealer who has become my friend, but he has earned the right of sale , thru his years of kind service and good advice on my behalf. Regards Bear

    BEAR:
    Thanks for the quick reply.
Perhaps the next time that you talk to Rick, you can mention my name
as a buyer of some of these proof quarters.
    He has my address,email, etc.
    Hopefully, he will contact me.

    Bear, well said:

I think more consumers should act this way when dealing with service providers. And, at the same time, more service providers should respect long standing customers with a similar approach. Ive dealt with one coin shop for many years, but I find that when he has a coin I might be interested in he'll call someone else first who might have deeper pockets, a quicker pen (or credit card), etc.

while I dont want the dealer to lose out, a little two-way consideration would be nice. after all, how many coins have I bought from him over the years that I also could have bought elsewhere?

loyalty works both ways. a message to all (?)

    cheers, alan mendelson
