Watchers versus bidders..... I'd say most are just interested in what the ridiculous winning bid will be.

    Bidding means absolutely nothing.
Most truly really interested collectors make just one snipe bid.
Some bid 5X just to run up the price without any intention of winning.

I put in many bids early on to mark a card without wasting a watch where you are limited to 100 at any given time.
If I am somewhat interested I will put it into my watch lot

I like to watch many auctions. Whether they are on my list of wants or just nice specimens. It allows me to follow where prices are landing and how the current market is flowing. I’ve had well over a thousand at a time. Just keep creating a new “list” to watch under. I can follow BIN price drops and even get the seller price drop offers because I’m watching. But currently only at 273.
As far as PWCC, it’s easier for me to bid mark an auction and follow along. Most times prices do go well beyond my number. But I have picked up and missed out on my share of “deals to me”

My point is that PWCC gets more eyes on their sports cards than any other seller on eBay. They get the most high quantity (relative to quality) of consignments than any other seller in the sports card auction world. It is obvious they are bringing the best cards to market more consistently than anyone.

The point about the vault is also a game changer. There will be no better source from where you can buy the best of the best cards in the world.

I know the debate is why overpay? But the cards being sold from PWCC seems to be a brand of its own with a price premium.

It's kind of like memorabilia from REA. It is the elite stuff. You gotta pay a premium.
