Value range of a set

The set is a walking liberty half circulated (average set nothing special sticks out)
But it is complete!

Hard to estimate costs without knowing the grades and if it’s a date set or dates with mm.

set is a Set of Dates with Mint Marks.
Grades are, early dates are Good and later dates most are XF
    If that helps?????

Big range of G to XF: 1500 to 18,000. Since the range is so big might be better to estimate by coin.

The 19’s and 21’s by themselves carry a hefty premium.

The price guide values are high end estimates so adjust accordingly.

Edit to add: Dates with MM is 66 Walkers.

I’ve purchased a few of these. I always valued circulated non keys slightly above melt. That leaves 4-6 coins that need to be graded. The value of those few coins determines the numismatic (as opposed to bullion) value of a circulated set.

Show us photos of the 16-S, 17-S obv, all three 21s, the 38-D coin if nice, and any other exceptionally nice early date coins and we could give you a meaningful answer.

I believe it's 65, unless you also count the 1946 doubled die reverse.

My Adolph A. Weinman signature :)

    Yes. Using the “Dansco” list.

Typical. The key dates appear to be the lowest graded coins in the set. The other early dates are worn enough that there probably isn't a a significant numismatic premium. Look at the 4 or 5 key dates carefully. Check both sides obviously. Make sure they actually have the correct mint-marks in the correct locations. Look carefully for problems (deep scratches, rim dings, harsh cleaning) and try to grade them. Be conservative. Once you have that, it's pretty easy to calculate a value for the set. Be aware that fakes do exist. I'd at least weigh them and do a ring test, but from 10,000' these look OK.

I was thinking about $1300.00 for the set?????
