Evan Longoria / Brooks Robinson April pickups

Hi All,

I'd say 95% of my posts are Longoria related, and this one is no exception. A bit of a twist though as I'd thought I'd share my Longoria/Robinson collection. Got a couple of cool Longo cards this month. As I was logging these into my inventory spreadsheet, noticed that I had a few dual/triple cards featuring both Longoria and Brooks Robinson.

Did you know? (Based on some verbiage that I found on the back of some of Evan's card that also referenced Brooks)

"Was only 24 years old when he claimed his first AL Gold Glove Award in 2009, making him the youngest winner in the junior circuit since 23 year-old Eric Chavez in 2001. Chavez, Brooks Robinson and Scott Rolen are the only younger third sackers to get one."

"Longoria added his name to an exclusive list in 2010 by earning his second fielding award. Only two third baseman in history (Brooks Robinson and Eric Chavez) have been multiple winners at a younger age than the 25-year old Rays star who ranked second in the circuit in putouts (127)"
