Go to google search, and type: "How to spot a fake michael jordan rookie card". Cardboard connection has some good pointers. Also type the same thing at youtube. Also keep an eye on this thread, because someone will eventually answer your question.
It's not an obvious fake, but it's difficult to say with any certainty with the quality of those pics.
When photographing cards, in-focus is more important than getting as close as possible... Give us a good, focused shot of the front and you'll get a better answer.

From what I see it looks good, But take every precaution

Almost assuredly real based upon the slight rough cut and the centering. Looks like it'd grade 7ish unless that top right corner is softer than the picture makes it look.
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.
I agree. Take EVERY precaution before making any decision. Do some research online.
The quality of the photo gives me alarm. I have no clue if it's real or fake, but just the fact that it's in a penny sleeve and a top loader and the photo is out of focus gives me alarm. Obviously, the seller should want to give you the best possible picture possible....unless he's hiding something.

Here is a guide I made on counterfeit Jordans

I would recommend you request a high resolution picture of the Fleer logo on the front of the card. My guess is the card is real, but you need better pics.

Congratulations on the find. It is 100% real.
Slap the burgers on the grill, we finally get an answer.
Honestly, the first thing I look at is the centering. While it is possible, there arent many counterfeits that have that bad of centering. Without better scans it is tough to tell, but I would lean towards being real
After reading this thread, someone is gonna make some off-center Jordan fakes and collect some coin
as others noted it's tough to tell without better scans, but looks like it's real to me
make sure you measure it, my eye test thinks it might be a little short so make sure
Real!
Hot beer? Throw that bad boy in the cooler.❄ Congrats on the jordan, looks like it might be the real mccoy.
Not trying to hijack the thread, but I stumbled across this and thought it was unfortunately pretty funny.
