Six coins I placed two weeks ago with DLRC are now live in their Auction #1060. All six are PCGS with CAC. The auctions end on Sunday April 14th, no buyers fee, free shipping.

  1. SOLD $2,650 (no BP) - 1853 Large Cent, graded MS64+RD, PCGS/CAC. While PCGS has graded 106 as MS64RD, the PCGS pop for those with a PLUS is only 2. Additionally, very few graded MS64RD/MS64+RD merit a CAC (only about 4%). 177 have that grade (108 by PCGS and 69 by NGC), but ONLY 7 have a CAC! When I bought this coin, Heritage said that in their opinion, the EAC grade is MS65.

  2. Still available on DLRC. 1911 Liberty Nickel, graded PR66+CAM, PCGS/CAC. While PCGS has graded 36 of these as PR66CAM, only 3 have merited the PLUS by PCGS as PR66+CAM.

  3. SOLD $525 (no BP) - 1938 Jefferson Nickel, graded PR67+, PCGS/CAC. Due to cellophane wrapping on proof coins from this era, it's very tough to find one this lustrous with watery mirrors, no haze, and still with a CAC!

  4. Still available - 1901 Barber Half Dollar, graded PR65+CAM, PCGS/CAC. The PCGS Pop is ONLY 1, and when I checked two weeks ago, NGC had not had one in this grade at all. Flashy, deep watery mirrors, it has it all.

  5. Still available - 1853 Gold Dollar (Type 1), graded MS64, PCGS/CAC. While not rare at all, CAC is tough on gold getting CAC's. For this date and grade only 134 have a CAC out of the 1,575 graded by PCGS and NGC (8.5%).

  6. Still available - 1854 Gold Dollar - Type 2, graded MS62, PCGS/CAC. As noted above, CAC is tough on gold, especially Type 2 Gold Dollars. While this date has 958 graded by PCGS and NGC as MS62 (481 by PCGS and 477 by NGC), only 39 have a CAC (only 4.0%).
