Which happens first?

Like most of you I am sure you got the email a week or so ago about the deadline for requesting additions to the Set Registry to be included for this years awards. So what will happen first...my single card submission that was entered on 12/31/18 (for the record this a cross over submission from a BGS holder, regular 40 day submission) or will the deadline to add said card to a Master Set expire??
