ESPN is reporting that Tom Brady has decided to retire!! He decided to join Gronk in a joint venture as co-owners of Tide Pods and to star along with him in commercials.

Tom Brady to hold a press conference later today announcing the news.
Brady winds up having a half-decent career, and I think one day he may have a chance to enter the Patriots team Hall of Fame.

Jon, my second choice was that you and Mark had reconciled and were about to announce the engagement, but I wasn't sure if you'd be PO'd or not so I held off. my sense of Mark is that he'd get the joke and enjoy it.
April Fools Day must not be lame since it is widely recognized and people participate in all sorts of stuff. I remember back around 2005 or so there was a spate of "I'm leaving" pity threads at the coin forum. you know the kind, where the member isn't really wanting to leave, they just need some attention. most of them got it when they started such threads, so I did likewise on April Fools Day.
the joke was on me, some were happy that i was leaving!!
