The 4 card page photo style album is also very 1991.
I remember thinking the "Rifleman" cards were the best thing ever. Everyone wanted Bo or Griffey, Jr. when they were opening a pack.

Beautiful. I miss those days also. I wish we could go 🔙
Definitely One Of The Best Players
Magicpapa beautiful.
1992 Collectors Edge Football case?
Thanx for sharing "Em" - what's your first name?
I don't necessarily miss the early 90s as such.
But, if we're talking about the hobby in that time?
It was amazing!
First, the internet was in it's early days with Sportsnet.
A newcomer rocked our world with Upper Deck.
There were loads of card shops and local shows including many at the mall - was a buyer's market IMO.
1992 Fleer Ultra - full bleed UV coated cards had great photography with super actions shots.
Everyone was chasing Griffey Jr, Frank Thomas and the 84D Mattingly RC spurred a rookie card craze that's still considered monumental today IMO.
I bet there's still guys with a garage full of 90D cases with no takers?
The Rifleman and Score All Star "Big Head" cards were two of my favorite of his as a kid. Hope to add 10s of those to the collection in the near future.
Main collecting focus is Patrick Roy playing days 85/86-02/03, expect 1/1, National/All-Star stamped cards.PC Completion: 2,548/2,952; 86.31% My Patrick Roy PC Website:https://proy33collector.weebly.com
Looking back I'm glad I got to see Griffey Jr. play when he was with Seattle. Maybe my favorite
non K.C. Royal that I ever saw play!
Still one of my favorites ever...

oh my goodness. I think that makes me officially old. I can remember ordering 1989 donruss mariners team sets out of baseball card magazine in 1989. i think they were around 4 or 5 dollars. I would give my mother the money and she would write out a check for me to mail. was so exciting waiting for them to arrive. took weeks it seems. those were the days.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Great read too!!!

Upper Deck repurchased 99 copies of Ken Griffey, Jr's 1989 Fleer rookie card, had Griffey autograph them all, then randomly inserted them into Hobby packs.

2000 Upper Deck
I still have some left. Sold about 125 of them but kept some of my favorites.
