For me in 1980 I saw an NHL game on dime beer night. A fight on the ice expanded into the stands. Police had to be called in to restore order. Fans were ejected from the arena. All players except 3 on one team and 4 on the other were ejected by the refs. The remainder of the game was played 3 on 4.
It was my first NHL game and I left the game wondering if this type of brawl was a regular occurrence.

Back in the mid 70’s my family and I went to Foxboro Stadium to see the Pats play and our seats were right on the edge of the stadium facing one of the gates and parking lots, I must have seen about 5 brawls, one of them was probably a 10 on 10. Never saw any players fighting in games I’ve been to
I haven't seen any on field brawls but in KC saw several obnoxious, drunk Yankee fans get into a fight
with Royal's fans.
I'm gonna cheat a bit. I was at this game but arrived minutes after the brawl. Afternoon start and I had to work. Was driving to the game during the fight. My wife was there, though, and said it was crazy. This is the Spokane Indians vs somebody. #2 in white/cream is Rougned Odor, the guy who lit up Jose Bautista. First video is the main brawl, second one shows the sucker punch that you only hear in the first video.
