Post Your Rams

For some reason, I find the ram of Schaffhuasen to be enormously appealing. This is a shooting medal from 1956.
The quality of the imaging is poor, I know. I was experimenting with a 50mm, f/1.4 lens and the results were disappointing for anything less than say - 50mm in diameter. (diameter is circumstantial, here). Good result, though for larger pieces such as my next post and imaging of mineral specimens.

    Is that ram licking his nostrils? That is so cool. I'm not sure I have any ram coins or medals. This will be a challenge. Swiss shooting medals are cool.

    The ram certainly has its tongue outstretched. I believe that there is some heraldic meaning to that.
