There are many interesting, educational, and very old discussions on in the CU archives. Please do us all a favor as some dummies (ME) don't check the date of the original thread.
HIGHLIGHT your "bump."
You can do this by putting a "#" at the beginning.

Good idea.
Hmmmm...When I do that it leaves a yellow line on my computer screen. Maybe a fluorescent light screen will work better...?
Insider... the date is the first thing you should be looking at!
Check out how it works: Cloud Appreciation "bump."
WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT US?
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
Sounds like a plan !!!
I made a suggestion to alert folks to old bumped threads. It may save others some time.
Want a real laugh? I PM'ed the OP who is possibly dead by now.
just look at the date instead of starting a thread that crowds page one.
OKAY, great idea Keets.
PS My points are at X666. The Devil made me do it.
And if it continues, the LAST thing we should be looking at is this forum.
I just liked your OP to get you over that.
If he answers you I am running for the hills.
The hills could be older than the thread.
“Hold onto your hats, ladies! This could be a bumpy ride!”
I see nothing wrong with resurrecting old threads occasionally if they are good threads, but do agree that those who do so should use an alert when they do so (I prefer a bold statement ALERT - THREAD RESURRECTION or something similar). As you know, internet etiquette is often not followed much like those who don't know how to spell or know the difference between "sum" and "some", "lose" and "loose", and on and on......
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
I believe this is called a thread. It is on the U.S. Forum. We all enjoy the U/.S. Forum, right. Hey, ignore the troll.
He actually did! No joke, it floored me also when I got a PM. .
Nevermind
PLEASE DO EVERYONE A BIGGER FAVOR...
Put the topic of your post in the title... CLICKBAIT SUCKS and is far more problematic on this forum than bumping an old thread!
Michael Kittle Rare Coins --- 1908-S Indian Head Cent Grading Set --- No. 1 1909 Mint Set --- Kittlecoins on Facebook --- Long Beach Table 448
Just think, in 2, 3 4, 8, 15 years, this will be bumped without comment.
The only problem with this is that people appear to NOT read the entire thread. So, while the first person to tune into the zombie thread will see the message, how many later people will?
This!
Funny how people who hate click bait create their own click bait when it suits them.
What's "clickbait?" When the title has something that makes people look? That's it right? SorryI changed the title to "Don't read this thread."
I wrote a reply to the thread and even PM'ed tho OP before I knew it was old. So I made what I think is a helpful suggestion.

Being relatively new posting here, the problem I see is that the original post date is not on the main page, only the most recent date. I don't mind new information on an old topic as long as it's relevant.
