I recognize Buddy Ebsen as the first choice for the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz. He even toured with the rest of the cast in early promo appearances. But, he turned out to be allergic to the aluminum in the silver colored makeup, so Jack Haley got the role.

Isn't Kareem Abdul Jabbar a coin collector? I think he is/was on the Citizen's Coinage committee or whatever it is called.

Also, I think NE Patriots player Gronkowski is also a collector, as his coins were stolen in a break in last year while he was off playing football.

Where's the picture of Kareem? Off the top of my head, he would have to be the most famous coin collector.

    Right
And also one of the original Seattle Mariners owners

I meant as well as Kareem someone might post up Danny Kaye, a former MLB owner
